This contemporary fantasy is set in today's world where Janice discovers the ability to see past reality to find a hidden matrix. This is the truth she finds in book one, the truth that the world isn't always as it seems. Janice discovers that people are being manipulated to do evil things in order to protect their religion and god.
Although the trilogy is based loosely on the bible, it is completely fantasy and not meant in anyway to represent any actual religion. If there is a moral to the story, it's to say the world isn't always as we believe.
